So, here’s the latest update on me.

My back went out again really bad this weekend. I couldn’t stand up. Luckily moving to my small hometown meant I could get a doc to call in meds on the weekend and I did (or my mom did) and I started steroids on Saturday. Things got better but yesterday I pulled it bad getting out of my car going to work. I was able to get into the docs office soon after and got a different muscle relaxer and two pain meds and a shot. Today I went for my first MRI (yes, I too can’t wait to see how much I’m going to have to pay for it) and hope it doesn’t show I have anything too terribly wrong with me that pain meds can’t fix (they called it pain management). The docs office closes at lunch tomorrow so I probably won’t know anything until Monday…which is frustrating but I can’t change it. 

I hope they’ll say it’s just aggravated muscles near a nerve which sucks but can heal on its own and they’ll give me a lovely supply of pain meds and possibly some physical therapy and I can get back on the track of trying to be an active person who loses weight. 

So, I’m nervous.
